Wagering Requirements on BetDonut, in Plain Numbers
Deposits carry a 1x playthrough and bonuses carry 35x. Here is why those two numbers are different, and exactly what has to be wagered before a withdrawal goes out.
Two different rules, deliberately
A deposit has to be wagered once before it can be withdrawn. A bonus has to be wagered 35 times. Those are not arbitrary: they are the two numbers that stop the site from being a money-laundering route on one side and a faucet on the other.
| What you received | Playthrough |
|---|---|
| A deposit | 1x the deposited amount |
| Signup bonus (matched, up to 1,000,000) | 35x the bonus |
| Referral bonus (matched, up to 30,000,000) | 35x the bonus |
Why a bonus is 35x and not 1x
Break-even on a bonus is one divided by the house edge. At 3%, the house only recovers the value of a bonus once roughly 33 times that amount has been staked. Anything below that pays people to claim it rather than to play.
35x clears break-even with a little margin, and it is the same 30-40x range the rest of the industry settled on for exactly this reason. A site advertising a large bonus at 1x is either not paying it or not keeping it.
How it is tracked
Your requirement is a single running figure. Each settled bet burns into it up to the amount staked, and the wallet page shows what is left as a number. There is no per-game weighting and no game excluded from contributing.
A withdrawal requested while that figure is above zero is refused with the exact amount still to wager, rather than silently queued.
Common questions
Do losing bets count towards wagering?
Yes. What counts is the amount staked on a settled bet, not whether it won.
Do all games contribute equally?
Yes. Every game carries the same 3% edge, so there is no reason to weight them differently and none are excluded.
Is the signup bonus free donuts?
It is matched against your first deposit rather than granted outright, up to 1,000,000 donuts, and it carries the 35x bonus playthrough.
